In exercising discipline in their studies, the child gets plenty opportunities to prepare, to see and experience what they are capable of accomplishing, achieving, and becoming.
Exploring Their Great Decision Making Abilities
In exploring their great decision making abilities, the child gets plenty opportunities when faced with obstacles to trust that they are capable of making great decisions. Also, when a child is preparing or taking a test it is essential that the child learns to trust that they have prepared and are capable of making great decisions. Furthermore, when the child encounters peer pressure encouraging them to conduct themselves in an inapproriate manner, it is important for the child to trust that they are capable of making great decisions.
Honoring Themselves
In learning and practicing to honor themselves, children learn to think of themselves no matter the situation. Children learn to think of their feelings, thoughts and options. Also, in honoring themselves, children are encouraged to explore their own needs and desires. It is important that the children remember, respect and appreciate themselves. More importantly, it is essential that each child gives permission to themselves to be kind to themselves. Lastly, it is important that the child learn to not give others permission to dishonor them.
Respecting Others
In respecting others, we encourage each child to pay attention to how their words make others feel. Moreover, we encourage each child to pay attention to how their actions make others feel. With such knowledge, the child becomes aware of words used and actions taken which encourages them to be responsible for their words and actions.
